The A.P.Billiards & Snooker State Championship-2010 indeed, a prestigious event, was successfully conducted at the Club from 2^nd to 11^th July, 2010 under the auspices of A.P.Billiards & Snooker Association,Hyderabad. The winners were awarded cash prizes along with certificates/trophies on the concluding day by the President and other Members of the Managing Committee. M/s Sujana Group of Companies are the title sponcerers. Dr.Mohd.Khizar Raoof, winner of the title was especially congratulated by the President & other M.C.Members for bringing honours to the club.

The Tarachand Bhagwandas Solanki memorial billiards tournament was held from 15^th to 18^th July,2010. Mr.Rajeev of literary Association Kakinada (LAK), A.P.won the trophy.

Ladies evening was celebrated at the Club on 17^th July, 2010 with varieties of games and extra-curricular activities with active participation of the Lady Members.

Shri.K.Mahipathi Rao Memorial Rummy competition- an annual event was held in the evening of Saturday, the 31^st July, 2010 followed by dinner for all the participating Members. Mr.Jawahar Mahi (M.No.380) and Mr. Taher Mahi (M.No.2100) were the Guests of Honour for the prize distrubution ceremony. The winners walked away with attractive prizes.

The Super bumper Tambola was organized in a grand manner at the Club premises on Sunday, the 1^st August, 2010 with fabulous prizes - mega bumper prizes being a CAR. Mr. Ashok Kumar Gupta (M.No. 1561) was the winner of the Scooter (Suzuki Access). Other winners also bagged prizes like LED & LCDs in various rounds.The event was attended by a large number of Members.

M/s Madras Race Club, Guindy, Chennai- 600 032 has been included in the list of affiliated Clubs on reciprocal affiliation basis between Nizam Club and Madras Race Club.

The 126^th Annual General Body meeting is scheduled on 19^th Sept., 2010 and the Elections for the posts of President, Joint Secretary and three Managing Committee Members will be held on 26^th Sept., 2010. The notifications with regard to the General Body meeting and the Elections will be displayed separately with all the details shortly.
